A company based in Costain, Lagos, is seeking a vigilant, disciplined, and alert Security Operative to safeguard company property, staff, visitors, and assets. The organization is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment through professional security protocols.

Access Control

• Monitor entry and exit points.
• Screen visitors, staff, and vehicles.
• Maintain visitors logbook.

Patrol & Surveillance

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, car park, and perimeter.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems.

Incident Response

• Respond promptly to security breaches, fire alarms, or emergencies.
• Report incidents accurately and on time.

Asset Protection

• Ensure company property and equipment are secured at all times.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

Customer Service

• Provide professional assistance to staff and visitors.
• Maintain a courteous presence at all times.

Reporting

• Submit daily shift reports and handover notes to the next team.

• Minimum SSCE/WAEC Certificate.
• Prior experience in security, military, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory. On-the-job training will be provided.
• Physically fit and alert. Must be able to stand for long hours and work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic literacy: Ability to read, write, and fill incident/visitor logs.
• Good conduct: No criminal record. Must be trustworthy and disciplined.
• Age: 22 – 45 years.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Security & Safety (40%): Zero breaches, timely incident reporting, adherence to patrol schedule.
• Access Control (30%): Accuracy of visitor logs, proper screening of persons/vehicles.
• Professionalism (20%): Punctuality, uniform compliance, conduct with staff and visitors.
• Vigilance & Reporting (10%): Quality of shift reports, alertness during duty.
