We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer based in Nigeria to play a critical role in designing, building, and scaling the core systems that power our platform.

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
- Build scalable, secure, and resilient systems suitable for regulated and security-sensitive environments.
- Contribute to cloud-native, production-grade architecture and infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with product, AI, and security teams to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Take ownership of backend components from design through deployment and long-term maintenance.

You will work across a modern backend stack that may include:
- Languages: Node.js, Python, Go
- Infrastructure: Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or equivalent)
- Systems: Distributed systems, containerized services (Docker)
- Data: Relational and non-relational databases

What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience building and operating backend systems in production environments
- A solid understanding of scalability, security, and system reliability
- Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and taking end-to-end ownership
- A product-minded engineer who enjoys solving hard problems and building foundational systems from the ground up
