Job Description

Clinix Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our diagnostic imaging team. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services and exceptional patient care, and we are looking for a professional passionate about producing accurate diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and supporting clinical decision-making through advanced radiographic techniques.

Location: Ilupeju 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, fluoroscopy, and other modalities as required. 
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and image quality. 
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, position them correctly, and provide care to minimize discomfort and radiation exposure. 
• Ensure adherence to radiation protection principles (ALARA), ionizing radiation regulations, and all safety protocols. 
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images and assist radiologists in image interpretation when needed. 
• Supervise and mentor junior radiographers, students, and support staff, providing training and guidance. 
• Participate in quality assurance, equipment troubleshooting, and inventory management of imaging supplies. 
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians and radiologists, to support accurate diagnosis and patient management. 
• Maintain accurate records, comply with regulatory standards, ensure patient confidentiality, and uphold laboratory safety practices.

Required Skills

• Experienced Senior Radiographer with strong technical expertise in diagnostic imaging and sound professional judgment. 
• Excellent knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety principles. 
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to produce high-quality images under time constraints. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and medical teams. 
• Ability to lead, supervise, and train others while working efficiently under pressure. 
• Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, continuous professional development, and quality improvement.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Radiography (B.Sc. Radiography) or equivalent from an accredited institution. 
• Full registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) and a valid practicing license. 
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiography, with proven expertise in advanced modalities (CT, MRI, etc.). 
• Previous supervisory or senior-level experience is highly desirable. 
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., CT, MRI, mammography, or radiation safety) are an added advantage.
