The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are executed according to drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The role requires hands-on coordination with contractors, artisans, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project plans.

• Supervise construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate artisans, contractors, and site labour to meet daily work targets
• Monitor project progress and report delays, risks, or deviations to management
• Ensure materials are used efficiently and minimize wastage on site
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Maintain daily site records, site diaries, and progress reports
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials

Job-Specific Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for site execution
• Conduct setting-out, leveling, and measurements on site
• Inspect completed works to ensure quality standards are met before approvals
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and regulatory bodies when required
• Support handover and snag-list resolution during project completion

• HND/BSc in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field
• 2–4 years hands-on site experience in building or real estate construction
• Ability to read and execute architectural and structural drawings
• Basic knowledge of concrete works, reinforcement, and site safety (HSE)
• Strong site supervision, reporting, and coordination skills
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Lekki
