Job Description

I’m looking for a proactive, self-driven Social Media Assistant who’s at the early stage of their career but actively learning and improving their skills. 


 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with content planning, scheduling, and community management
• Edit and prepare short videos for Instagram/TikTok
• Help generate simple captions, ideas, hooks, and content angles
• Research trends, competitors, and platform updates
• Support day-to-day administrative and creative tasks
 

Required Skills

This role is perfect for someone who has taken social media courses, understands the basics, and wants hands-on experience while earning.

If you’re someone who:
• Has basic experience using social media professionally
• Is currently learning and improving your skills
• Can edit short-form videos (Reels/TikToks)
• Understands social media algorithms, trends, and best practices
• Can write clean, engaging captions
• Can brainstorm content ideas and bring creative suggestions
• Is eager to support and assist a busy social media manager
• Is proactive and can work independently
• Is NOT a student and is available to work actively
