The Special Needs Teacher will work alongside mainstream teachers to support students with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other learning needs, implement IEPs, deliver differentiated lessons, and champion inclusive practices across the school.

CTL Academy is a fully inclusive school in Abuja where every child belongs. The academy champions inclusive practices across the school and supports students with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside mainstream teachers to support students with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and other learning needs.
  • Implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
  • Deliver differentiated lessons.
  • Champion inclusive practices across the school.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Special Education, Education, or Psychology + TRCN registration.
  • 2+ years SEN experience in inclusive or mainstream settings.
  • Skilled in IEPs, differentiation, and positive behavior support.
  • Added advantage: ABA experience or knowledge.
