We are seeking a qualified stockbroker with experience in the Nigerian capital markets.

Position: Stockbroker (Senior Analyst to Associate Grade)

Division: Equities Trading Desk

In this role, you will be responsible execution of client trades, educating them about our products/services and guiding them to make the best decisions.

You will also play a key role in generating trading and investment ideas by identifying opportunities for potential gain.

* Trade execution and advisory
* Generating new trading strategies
* Build positive relationships with customers and maximize the value of those relationships.
* Assist with management of the proprietary portfolio
* Participate in meetings with clients to explain services and guide their choices.
* Understand the problems and challenges of clients and identify ways the business could better address those needs.
* Assist in growing the business by identifying new sales and business development opportunities.
* Seek opportunities to cross-sell and upsell to existing clients
* Resolve any client(s) complaints promptly and professionally.

* Excellent Interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships.
* Good knowledge of investment products
* Strong numerate and analytical skills.
* Good knowledge of the capital markets and regulations
* Problem solving and conflict resolution capability.
* Excellent presentation skills, Creativity and innovation
* Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
* Minimum of 2nd class degree in economics/ finance related subjects or science degree.

Professional qualifications:
* ACS, MSc or an MBA will be a clear advantage.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in stockbroking
* Registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a sponsored Individual will be an added advantage.
