The Strategic Intelligence Analyst will gather and analyze security data, provide informed intelligence through quality reports and alerts, and support decision-making processes for clients operating across Africa.

The company helps clients mitigate risks in their operating environment through informed intelligence and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security incidents and generate real-time flash alerts on incidents in West and Central Africa.
  • Collect, evaluate, interpret, and integrate data from multiple sources to recognize key indicators of future events impacting operations or security conditions.
  • Curate comprehensive Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annual, and Quarterly Security Intelligence reports.
  • Analyze security, political, geopolitical, and operational trends in West and Central Africa to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify intelligence gaps, articulate collection requirements, and use analytical tools to form conclusions, predictions, and forecasts.
  • Assist in reviewing and editing intelligence products prepared by others.
  • Collaborate with other intelligence agencies on mutually concerning threats and issues.
  • Undertake tasks as delegated by the Line Manager.
  • Collaborate with team members on special projects and tasks.

Required Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in Criminology, Political Science, Security Studies, International Relations, or any relevant degree.
  • Must have completed NYSC.
  • 0–3 years of work experience as a security analyst.
  • Knowledge of security and political trends in Nigeria, West, and Central Africa.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
