Job Description

As our Talent Specialist, you’ll play a key role in helping us grow our team across the country. You’ll drive end-to-end recruitment, support hiring managers, coordinate onboarding and ensure every candidate and new hire has great experience. From sourcing talent for field roles to supporting Finance, HR and operations hiring, this role puts you at the center of Jaza's growth. This is a great opportunity to own key HR processes, work in a fast-paced environment, and help build a strong, people-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

  •   Manage high-volume hiring campaigns for both field and office roles.
  •   Source, screen and interview candidates efficiently taking them through the recruitment process and qualifying the best and brightest to join our team.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and forecast talent needs.
  •  Collect and process all pre-employment documentation.
  •  Deliver a smooth and engaging onboarding experience for all new hires.
  •  Support employee engagement initiatives that enhance workplace experience.
  •  Promote Jaza’s employer brand and help attract top talent.
  • Act as the go-to point of contact for candidates, hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
     

Required Skills

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  2. 5 years of experience in Human Resources, including at least 3 years focused on recruitment.
  3. Proven ability to run high-volume recruitment drives, especially for field-based roles.
  4.  Experience supporting hiring managers and collaborating across departments.
  5. Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments where priorities evolve quickly.
  6. Proficiency with HR systems and tools (HRIS/HRMS), with an interest in process optimization.
  7. In-depth knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and HR best practices.
  8. Professional certifications (CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or aPHRi) are an added advantage.
