Alert Group—with subsidiaries across Microfinance Banking, SME Lending, Renewable Energy, and Asset Management—is seeking a hands-on Team Lead, IT Infrastructure to drive reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure supporting our digital banking and financial services platforms.

The Team Lead, IT Infrastructure will lead and supervise the Infrastructure and DevOps unit, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and compliance across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. This role plays a critical part in DevOps adoption, automation, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Reports to: Head, IT

-Lead, mentor, and supervise the IT Infrastructure team (DevOps/Cloud & System/Network Engineers)
-Design, deploy, and manage on-prem, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
-Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
-Administer and secure servers, networks, virtualization (VMware/HyperV), Active Directory & IAM
-Manage Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) workloads
-Ensure 99.9%+ uptime, monitoring, incident management, and disaster recovery.
-Enforce security, compliance, and risk controls (CBN, NDIC, ISO 27001)
-Lead infrastructure projects, vendor management, and cost optimization

-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
-6+ years in IT Infrastructure, with 1+ year in a supervisory role
-Strong experience in FinTech, Banking, Microfinance, or regulated environments
Hands-on expertise in:
-Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
-Docker, Kubernetes
-CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
-IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Solid knowledge of Linux administration, networking, load balancing, DNS, firewalls, and virtualization.
