• Handle reservations, ticketing, rebooking, cancellations, and refunds across domestic and international flights using GDS platforms
• Build optimal itineraries including flights, hotels, visas, and travel insurance tailored to client budgets and preferences
• Serve as direct point of contact for retail, corporate, and diplomatic clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions
• Resolve flight disruptions and cancellations efficiently by securing fast re-routings and alternative options
• Stay current on visa rules, passport validity, transit requirements, and health regulations to prevent client travel issues
• Apply fare rules, taxes, and date-change penalties accurately to protect both client and agency from unnecessary costs
• Match payments to bookings before ticket issuance to ensure zero revenue leakage
• Prepare daily sales summaries and reconciliation reports for Finance department review
• Maintain calm and professional communication during high-pressure client situations

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
• 2 to 4 years hands-on experience as Ticketing/Reservations Officer at travel agency or airline
• Working fluency in at least one GDS platform (Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport)
• IATA or GDS certification is a strong advantage
• Sharp attention to detail for catching fare rule errors before they become costly problems
• Clear and professional communication skills that remain effective under pressure
• Strong knowledge of international travel documentation and regulatory compliance
• Ability to multitask and prioritize during peak booking periods and emergencies
