The Trade Desk Graduate Trainee will gain hands-on experience across live trade finance transactions while supporting operations, analytics, and technology initiatives within the organisation’s Trade Desk.

• Support the Trade Desk in monitoring active transactions from origination through settlement
• Assist with transaction tracking, milestone updates, and operational reporting
• Help ensure trade documentation is complete, accurate, and readily accessible
• Learn and apply structures of Purchase Order Financing, Supply Chain Finance, Export Finance, Warehouse Finance, and other financing products
• Assist in reviewing transaction structures and identifying commercial/operational risks
• Analyze transaction data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and portfolio performance
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and management summaries using Excel/Google Sheets
• Contribute ideas for leveraging technology to improve trade visibility and efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Legal, Product, and Business Development teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Agricultural Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn
• Preferred: interest or experience in trade finance, commodity markets, financial markets, FinTech, AI, risk management, or agricultural value chains
• Exposure to tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Google Workspace, or Notion is an added advantage (not required)
