The Trainee Accountant will support daily bookkeeping, financial reconciliations, and reporting under the supervision of qualified accountants.

• Input daily invoices, operational expenses, and cash book entries into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and trial balance preparation.
• Organize financial documentation and verify accounting records for internal and external audits.
• Ensure all financial files and records comply with statutory regulations and internal controls.

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of financial principles, general ledger entries, and bookkeeping practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
• High numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong desire to learn, grow professionally, and build a career in accounting.
