A company is seeking a motivated Trainee Seismic Data Processing Geophysicist to join its growing Geoscience team. The organization is dedicated to supporting the processing and imaging of 2D/3D seismic datasets and providing hands-on experience with modern seismic workflows and geophysical technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support seismic data processing projects using industry-standard software.
  • Support the preparation of processing reports, technical notes, and client review materials.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing learning through internal training programs and technical workshops.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the team lead.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Geophysics.
  • Graduate within the last 1 to 2 years, 0 to 2 years of experience in seismic data processing (2D/3D).
  • Basic understanding of seismic acquisition and wave propagation principles.
  • Exposure to seismic processing software (e.g., GeoEast, ProMAX, Omega, Vista, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
