The Trainee will undergo structured technical training in Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and other additive manufacturing processes and progressively develop the competence required to operate additive manufacturing equipment independently and safely. The role is onsite in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Arridex is hiring a Trainee SLS / AM (Advanced Manufacturing) to undergo structured technical training in Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and other additive manufacturing processes.

• Participate actively in the SLS/AM technical training programme.
• Learn machine operating procedures, process parameters and production workflows.
• Support preparation and setup of additive manufacturing machines.
• Assist with material preparation and handling.
• Support build preparation, execution, removal and post-processing activities.
• Observe and learn machine monitoring and troubleshooting procedures.
• Follow all approved operating procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate training and production records.
• Participate in supervised machine operation and practical assessments.
• Develop competence in interpreting technical drawings, work instructions and production documentation.
• Learn basic quality inspection requirements for additive manufacturing components.
• Support housekeeping and 5S activities.
• Report machine abnormalities, safety concerns and production issues to the supervising technician.
• Participate in cross-training across relevant additive manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Progress toward independent operation of assigned equipment upon demonstrating required competence.

• OND/HND/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering or related discipline.
• Graduate or early-career technical professional seeking practical AM experience.
• Previous exposure to additive manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory.
