Job Description

The Welfare Analyst will creatively oversee all aspects of driver (Champion) welfare, monitor and attend to driver requests, track attendance and retention, manage emergency issues, conduct exit interviews, implement recognition programs, and foster a driver community.

The company is building the largest vehicle subscription and financial services platform for commercial drivers and transport operators across Africa, using proprietary technology to enable drivers with no banking history to access low to zero emission vehicles, insurance, digital wallets, and e-hailing services on a subscription basis. Key Responsibilities

  • Track Champion daily attendance and follow up on absent champions.
  • Monitor turnover and retention rates amongst Champions.
  • Appropriately attend to the requests of Champions and follow through.
  • Track and respond to all champions' personal events (e.g., leave, birthdays, deaths, accidents, etc.).
  • Research and suggest Champions insurance options and HMO plans.
  • Follow through on Champions' emergency issues (e.g., accidents, harassment, law enforcement issues) and escalate if necessary.
  • Collect fees for HMO, Group Life and Accident, and other forms of insurance enforced.
  • Conduct exit interviews for champions, collate feedback, and provide recommendations.
  • Collect and collate information from champions and provide feedback to supervisor on issues that can be resolved.
  • Conduct champion surveys, analyze the data, and continuously determine new ways to increase and ensure retention.
  • Implement recognition and appreciation programs across the organization.
  • Encourage champion networks and committees to foster a community.

Required Qualifications:

  • A degree in a related field, minimum of an HND.
  • Proven experience working in or knowledge of a recruitment or analyst role.
  • Demonstrated high computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office programmes.
  • At least one year and above work experience.
