A portfolio showing strong visual design and UX thinking, with multi-platform work (mobile and web)
Experience shipping real product features, not just concepts
Comfort working across platform guidelines (iOS, Android, Web) and knowing when to follow them versus when to break them intentionally
Experience working with and contributing to design systems or component libraries
Using AI tools like Claude and/or Cursor to prototype ideas, write and ship code, and move faster from concept to working product
A drive to find better ways to bridge design and development through tooling, process changes, or shared workflows, and the initiative to actually propose and test them
Ability to communicate design decisions clearly in writing, in critique, and in collaboration with engineers
Excellent communication skills, both visual and written

Experience working in a remote, async-first environment or willingness to adapt to this working style
